My 82 year old Mother got super glue on the cushion of my micro-fiber sofa. Other websites say that nail polish remover takes super glue out but it also says it should not be used on micro-fiber….Help!

I believe that there is a solvent for super-glue that you can get at a hardware store such as Lowe’s or Home Depot. However, you definitely want to test it on an inconspicuous spot on the fabric before you use it in a visible area.
If that doesn’t work, can the cushion be turned upside-down, or otherwise “maneuvered” to hide the spot? You might also check with someone who does upholstery repairs to see if there is excess fabric underneath the sofa that could be used to repair or otherwise hide the spot.
Good luck.
Super glue remover! It’s marketed by the same company and looks just like super glue but its actually remover! There is actually such a thing! I sell it where I work, if that doesn’t work try GOO GONE.
Good Luck
Acetone works well to remove super glue, but I don’t know if you can use it on microfiber. Don’t use nail polish remover. It contains oils and moisturizers and that would just create another stain.
