clean fabric with soap and water…….then cover lightly with Scotchguard.
I have removed the sofa cushion covers and washed them. add baking soda to the wash water to remove smell. as for the pads ? try taking them outside and hosing them off and let them dry in the sun.
Lift up the seat cushions and look for a cleaning tag. It will tell you what products you can use on the fabric. Some upholstery has to be dry cleaned by a professional.
And train those pups to poo and pee outside! and stay off the furniture!
Go with the answer from Pat C.. Some materials can be ruined by soap and water, or make them look even worse.(my past experience on cleaning my own sofa.).
If there is no tags on the furniture, make sure you check under the couch bottom as well for one, then find out what the material is and go from there.
There’s a product you can find at petstores called Simple Solution Pet Stain & Odor Remover. It shouldn’t be very expensive and it’s really good, especially since it’s made for pets.
Get it professionally cleaned. If the ‘bad puppies’ have urinated on the sofa – then there’s no hope for that. I worked at a dry cleaners (long long ago) and learned animal urine is impossible to remove. The puppies should have never been allowed on the sofa – then this would not be an issue now.
