My 2 year old got his hands on a ball point pen and drew all over my microfiber sofa and ottoman. Was just wondering if there was anything I could use to get it out?

little laundry detergent & water and a rag
if that doesn’t work try dish liquid & water
* oh & the laundry detergent way is how the told me to celan it at the furniture store.
If detergent doesn’t work, try hair spray. I get pen on my shirts often, and hair spray has always worked. I think the spray separates the ink and makes it easier to wash out. I would suggest using a wet towel on the sofa after letting the hair spray sit for 5 minutes
I am glad you asked this question cause I just got a brand new white microfiber loveseat and my 5 year old daughter and was walking around with a red pen and got it all over the arm of the couch… Now I know how to get it out with out paying some one to come clean it
I would try hairspray also: spray a little on a cotton swab to test the area. If it works and your couch’s color doesn’t run then it should do the trick.
again the microfiber sofa and the pen. It’s a daily occurrence here on answers. Take some alcohol or lighter fluid and put it on a towel, wipe across the ink marks and change to another position with the towel. Let the towel adsorb the ink. When no more ink comes off on the towel, switch to soap and water. Do the same. Just don’t push the ink in further, be gentle.
PS, although the hairspray idea has some merit, the question I have is “How do I get hairspray off my microfiber sofa”?
I have heard hair spray works well in removing ink stains from clothing, so you may have some luck with trying it on your sofa. I’ve used the Lift Off stain remover spray in the past and it worked really well in removing a ink stain from my favorite white button down. You may want to try this spray out. The products description says it’s gentle enough to use on clothing and upholstery, so it’s worth the shot.
